Vans Skateboarding is proud to announce a brand-new collection with Vans team rider and London-based skater Helena Long, translating her band’s artwork and bold style to a new capsule collection, featuring the Vans Skate Sport. The star of the show – the Vans Skate Sport – is presented in an all-black colourway with custom artwork printed on the outsole, sockliner and shoebox, a leather tongue and Helena’s name on the leather heel moustache.

The Vans x Quasi Skate Old Skool is dressed in asphalt-colored hairy suede and washed heavy canvas uppers and is complete with an all-black outsole and tonal Quasi embroidery on the heel. Additional details include brushed antique silver eyelets, Quasi branding on the shoelace aglets, smooth toe bumper texture, and unique Quasi artwork featured on the footbeds. The Vans x Quasi Skate Old Skool uses proprietary POPCUSH™ sockliners for superior cushioning and impact protection plus SICKSTICK™ gum rubber compound for next-level grip. The tongue is fastened with elastic straps for a secure fit, and the silhouette features DURACAP™ on the uppers for maximum durability and longevity of the shoe. The Vans x Quasi Skate Gym-Q VCU shoe is a low profile, deconstructed skate shoe with a durable rubber toecap, offered in limited quantities and at select skate shops globally. Inspired by vintage Americana and utilitarian pieces, this timeless Vans Skateboarding blucher style is wrapped in green hairy suede with round hiker laces and an all-black outsole. Additional details include tonal Quasi branding on the heel and unique artwork featured on the footbeds. Vans x Quasi Skate Gym-Q VCU shoe features SICKSTICK™ rubber outsole construction, DURACAP™ for added protection, and POPCUSH™ footbeds for maximum support and comfort, on and off the board. The Zahba’s ImpactWaffle™ outsole features SickStick™ rubber which provides the perfect amount of flexibility and board feel. Anybody with an interest in modern skateboarding will already be well aware of Free magazine, the bi-monthly publication that's been opening minds, kickstarting conversations and questioning conformity across Europe and the world since 2015. Vans and Free decided to rework two of Free’s favourite past and present silhouettes – the Skate Sid and Skate Half Cab ’92. These two classic Vans Skateboarding styles have been given the Free treatment – with the magazine’s signature red ‘dot’ on the insole and outsole of both shoes and a subtle nod on the Half Cab eyelet. The shoes are given a premium execution with full leather uppers – The Sid in nubuck and the Half Cab in suede and feature the full Vans Skateboarding tech feature set – Duracap for durability, Sickstick Rubber for grip and Pop Cush for impact protection and comfort.
