Vans and London’s most iconic skate shop, Slam City Skates have teamed up for the third time for a brand new collection called “All Your Heart Desires”, dropping November 17th.
Inspiration for the collab stems from Slam City Skates’ early days when they bunked up with cult record shop, Rough Trade. Both brands were under the same roof at the time and merged their equal love of skateboarding, music and art. The collection features artwork drawn by Chris Long which was previously used on Slam City Skates’ plastic bags and featured as a full-page ad in RAD magazine in 1989. 30 years on, they felt it was time to resurrect this iconic graphic.
The collection includes two footwear styles – the Lampin Pro and the SK8-Mid Pro – and two pieces of apparel; an embroidered heavyweight hoody and pocket tee. All pieces feature Chris Long’s distinctive sacred heart graphic.
